Welcome To Bellingham Bowling Club in South East London
Founded in 1912 and located in Catford, Bellingham Bowling Club is a very friendly club for bowls players of all ages and abilities. The comfortable clubhouse is flanked by two greens and a large car park, and is situated in a peaceful garden setting with great views overlooking many famous London landmarks. We are the only bowls club locally that has two outdoors greens with winter short mat bowls also available.

New members are very welcome, even if trying bowls for the first time. We offer free coaching and a discounted membership fee for new joiners. In addition, we have a full social diary of events and a well-stocked bar for relaxation after an enjoyable game of bowls. If you have never played before, or wish to learn more about the game, pay us a visit and let us give you a taste of what is on offer.
Outdoor Bowling: April – October:
Informal, organised bowls sessions on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 2.30pm. In addition, the Club will be open throughout the week if you want to turn up and practice bowling on your own or with other members.
Indoor Short Mat Bowling: October – April:
Informal, organised bowls sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 1.30pm and Mondays at 7.00pm.
We will provide the bowls. All you need is a flat pair of shoes.
